Morning Rounds, November 4th
Some days it’s easier to not pay attention to sports than others - when the Phillies were in the midst of their World Series run I don’t think I returned a phone call or met with a friend for something not based around the games once. Today is not one of those days. There is plenty of interesting sports stories - AI to Detroit means a lot for the NBA of today and tomorrow, Thaddeus Young is developing into a star, this man is starting NFL quarterback, etc. etc. etc. - but I still keep wondering off to election news, checking polls, and reading endless commentary.

TODAY and MORE
Like every fake political junkie I try not to show it often, but I’m totally a fake political junkie. Even this election season when I “swore off” politics, I read the papers, the Plank, the Corner, Drum, Sullivan, Ygleias, and RCP, pretty much every day, and check out all the rest at least once a week. All of which goes to say: today is pretty interesting to me (even if nothing happens until tonight). I’ll be here all day and be posting whatever snarky observations I can, but like one of Robert Jarvik’s patients, my heart won’t really be in it.
As always, feel free to email with any questions, suggestions, comments or complaints.
