I remember watching The Terminator for the first time and, probably also for the first time, really empathizing with someone I knew I wasn’t supposed to. Somewhere in between the time when the Arnold approaches the house of the first Sarah Connor, he crushes a small toy truck with his car before getting out and when you realize just how annoying Kyle Reese really is I was totally won over by Schwarzenegger. I knew he was the bad guy, I knew I was supposed to be rooting against him, but he was just so cool that I became a fan.
Well, Chris Cooley just had his terminator moment. I know I’m supposed to hate the hated Redskins (hate!), but Cooley’s hilarious break-down of training camp was just oh-so entertaining that even we here in Philadelphia have to give respect.
